A New Year

WOW, who could believe that its 2013 already. We spent the new year home with the kids and sparkling cider. This was Derricks First Year home in 2 years so it was special. We went to KS for
 X-mas. Had a really good time, we were there for about  week. The kids just started back to school today and Derrick started back to work yesterday, 16 days off was enough for both of us LOL.  I will keep this a short update. Life is slowly getting back to normal, reintegration is not the easiest on a family, but we are strong and loving people, so it will all come out in the wash :) Be kind to each other and keep each other safe my friends and readers.

changes have come

So again its been a while since I updated my blog. Kids are doing so well in school. We are still loving our new house. Derrick is finally getting outta the office and getting unto some of the machine, which makes him very happy. I was hired at The Children's Place. I enjoy the work , plus i get a nice discount and Im liked there. Derrick and I will be taking off week after next to lone wolf resorts for his company. My mother in law will be here to take care of the kids. first time in about 3 years we have been alone. Christian and i were able to get our braces off and now have retainers we have to wear for 4 months, then we can go to only nights. Im on a nice little track to losing weight, down 4lbs this week, I have been running everyday except today cuz i had to take Christian to a walk in clinic  for bronchitis and allergies and asthma, welcome to OK LOL.......working is very different, but they are awesome about working around my schedule with the kid. so my next will be very busy, I hope yours flies by also, Halloween will be here soon and then thanksgiving, we have so much to be thankful for in this world . its amazing how many people take for granted their own immediate loved ones, please take the time to acknowledge how important they are in your life. Moved to a new house

So since the last time i updated my blog, we had indeed made it to OK. we moved into a ou dated house and soon found out that the AC was going out in it and the landlord had no intention of fixing it.  They ended up letting us out of our 6m lease early< but we took a huge hit with our deposit, but hey you when some you loose some. Our new house is AMAZING very modern and built recently , so it has all the upgrades. I've made new friends, which live right down the road from me. I do Zumba 3 ays a week and I just did a 5k at the gym :) The kids started school about 2 weeks ago.  Bella Rae started Kindergarden, Mateo started 3rd grade and Christian goes to junior high and is mixed in with the the schoolers. He is playing baseball for the school . All the kids schools are super small, which I LOVE. So for right now everyone is happy and life is going great, I hope everyone else is too :)

We made it to Oklahoma

Just wanted everyone to know we made it to OK. We left Redding Friday morning and drove till about bakersfield, then drove to AZ, then unto TX(which is a state I dearly love) We spent 2 nights in Scott City with Derrick's parents and then drove to OK. Our house is AMaZING, right across the small highway form the lake, Lake Lawtonka. we are getting settled in, our house hold goods should be here tuesday. The movers will be writing us a check for about $700 for our stuff being a week late and they have to pay to have the fridge doors fixed since they scratched the crap outta  them. Derrick and the kids are adjusting perfectly, back into the swing of things. I think we are too, at times  his attention can be overwhelming but i just remind myself that he  loves me so much and we will settle into our swing of things too. Well its late here and i have chores to finish. Hope everyone has a blessed week.

its been a while :)

Its been a long time since i updated my blog. Things have changed so much. Kids getting bigger, school was getting harder and life just got in the way. SO I dropped my class load this semester and focusing on working and gym time. We just got bad form Eureka for Easter. We visited my family  and the kids had a blast. Derrick got a job in Oklahoma and we will be moving in June, which is a huge change, we thought he would do another year in Saudi, but life changes so fast, so Ft.Sill here we come :) I can't wait to get there and finally be a family after 2 years. I will update more as things happen, derrick should have  his new contract by the end of the week and then we know when we report and all the major details. the semester so far

So a little update .. The college semester has started here and its going ok, Week 3, I think we are into.while school keeps me busy, this deployment is kicking my ass. All I think about is my husband, which day, my heart aches. Kids are doing well tho, much better than me. Life will go on, even tho each day seems to drag by :)
